In Spring 2019, the International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI™) approached our “Views” team with a request to increase organic traffic to their website.

IWBI is leading the global movement to transform buildings and communities in ways that help people thrive. They deliver the cutting-edge WELL Building Standard™: a leading global rating system and the first of its kind to focus exclusively on the ways that buildings and environments can improve our comfort, drive better choices, and generally enhance, not compromise, our health and wellness. 

Because of IWBI’s niche market, our goal was to drive as many views as possible to their website while making sure the audience was the correct fit for their business. 

At the time, our client had a small in-house marketing team that was prioritized to other projects and needed help developing and executing a strategy to increase traffic. Unable to secure a budget for media or advertising, we decided to take an organic approach to increase the views on their website.

We tapped our Copywriting Team and our Search Specialist to overhaul the on-page copy, meta titles, and descriptions across the entire site. We also performed in-depth keyword research and audience targeting to ensure their website appeared organically to the right people.

When we inherited the project, the website had plateaued at approximately 3,000 unique views per day. After our SEO and copywriting strategy, the site traffic boomed. We were averaging close to 11,000 views per day within six months of deployment—just under a 4x increase in page traffic.

As of early 2022 with continued support and partnership, they’re averaging more than 21,000 unique viewers per day.
